The Gables

House C16 with later alterations. Timber-frame and painted brick with plain tile
roof. Large rendered outside stack to East gable and West side stack with paired
shafts. One storey and attic. Originally L plan with modern gabled addition in South
East angle. Original South gable is close-studded with 2-light casement windows to
each floor. Modern gable is painted brick. Single storey modern extension at East
end. North side timber-framing exposed. Gabled dormer.
