Former school, mid C19 incorporating part of C16 or early C17 house. Timber-frame and
plaster with plain tiled roofs. North side is L plan one and a half storey
timber-framed house with North end stack. Close studding to front wall. C19 iron
lattice glazing to all windows. Two ornamental dormers with bargeboards and
finials. 4-light ground floor window and door. North side brick cased, but with
exposed timbers in rear East gable. Attached at south end is mid C19 schoolroom with
ornamental West gable: bargeboards, finial and large 5-light mullion and transom
window. Lean-to porch in angle to older range. South front has gabled projection and
2 mullion and transom windows. In schoolroom a carved stone fireplace dated 1617.
School built for Pull Court estate.
