Cottage. Early C17, renovated in C20. Timber-framed, with heavy timbers
and square panels, some rendered wattle-and-daub and C20 replacement infill
and some painted brick infill; tiled roofs; external rubble chimney with
rebuilt brick stack to rear and C20 external brick stack to south elevation.
L-shaped plan; single bay to main part with front entrance and large hearth;
2 bay cross wing at south gable end, 2 storeys and attic with dormers; all
windows are C20 casements. Front elevation to east: main part has a ground
and first floor window, a flat-roofed dormer and a planked door; cross-wing
gable end has a ground and first floor window, an attic light and also a
flat-roofed dormer in angle with main part. Interior has stop chamfered
main beams.
