Two cottages. C17 with C19 probable rebuilding of cottage at south west end,
both restored in late C20. In two parts under continuous tiled roof; one
cottage being timber-framed, square panelled with rendered infill on a rubble
plinth, rubble gable end chimney and bread oven with rebuilt brick; other
part is brick with a gable end and rear external brick stack. Timber-framed
cottage of 2 irregular framed bays with baffle entry to right of front
elevation and C20 brick outshut at gable end; brick cottage is 3 celled. Two
storeys and attic; irregular fenestration; both cottages have 3 ground and
3 first floor casements; timber-framed cottage has planked door to end bay;
brick cottage has cambered head ground floor windows and planked door with
cambered head to right of centre. Interior: Timber-framed cottage has stop-
chamfered main beams.
