Cottage. Possibly C16, probably C17. Timber-frame, regular square
panels in wattle-and-daub, some in brick; tiled roof. One storey on
cellar, attic dormers; 3 bays, 2 entrances with C19 planked doors:
one at left of left bay; the other at right of centre bay; one set of
C19 casements to each bay; chimney with detached brick shaft to rear
of left bay. Interior: large chimney at junction of centre and right
bays; collars with raking struts in each of gables defining the bays;
cross-beam arrangement to passage in left hand bay. Roofless at time
of re-survey (March 1984).
