3/8 Oasthouse with twin hop
kilns adjoining south end
of Bush Farmhouse

GV II


Oasthouse, converted to dwelling. Late C18 - late C19. Two parts.
To north: late C18 red brick range, dentilled eaves cornice, tiled roof.
Single storey with attic, 3 bays, irregular fenestration: C19 casements,
C20 dormer; entrance to west in north bay. Interior: roof has king posts
with struts supporting principals. To south: twin hop kilns. Late C19.
Red and blue brick. Pyramidal slate roofs supporting vanes over square
plan, 2 large storeys. Interior: slatted first floors survive.
Part of a picturesque agricultural group.
