Farmhouse. Late C17 - early C18 part cased in mid C19. One range in two
parts under continuous roof: timber-framed to left: brick to right. Left
part: brick base, timber-framed above, painted brick infill panels, tiled
roof. 2 storeys, 2 bays, brick stack at junction with right part, C19
casements to centre, above these pitch-hole to first floor, high double
entrance doors to left and, ledged C19 door to right. 2 rows of panels
between brick base and eaves. Right part: brick cased to front, tiled
roof continued from left part. 4½ storeys, 3 bays, external local type
stone chimney to rear of right hand bay; ground floor; 2 segmental headed
windows, each with C19 casements on either side of entrance; 3 gabled half-
dormers with C19 casements, the central and larger one over early C20 4
panelled top glazed entrance door. Interior: the two parts have similar
trusses: raking posts from collars to principals; the left part has a low
upper floor possibly for a former hay-loft.
