Cottage. Perhaps early C18. Timber-framed, painted brick infill panels,
stone left gable, continuous tiled roof, local type brick end stack with
off-sets and detached shaft. One storey and attic, 2 bays, C19 casements,
C20 rear dormer, entrance via C19 ledged door set under weathering, which
also covers adjacent contemporary casements either side. C20 extension
to rear right. Framing: 3 square panels from cill to eaves. Forms close
group with No 2 Barton Cottages and Broadleigh (qv).
