House. Late C17 - early C18. Timber-frame, painted brick infill panels
to left part, C18 brick casing to right part, continuous tiled roof, brick
end stack. 2 storeys, 4 bays; timber-framed part: 3 panels from cill to
eaves; brick part: dentilled eaves cornice, plat band. Random C19 and C20
casements, 6 on first floor and 4 on ground floor; entrance via C20
glazed porch. Interior: typical heavy ceiling beams to ground floor rooms;
roof trusses and cross-wall framing continue into brick-cased part. Forms
close group with Barton Cottages (qv).
