Cottage. Probably C18, extended c1955. Timber-frame, brick infill
panels, roughcast finish to gables, stone rear wall, continuous tiled
roof, brick end stack and local type stone external rear stack to left
bay. One storey and attic, 3 bays, C20 casements and 3 C20 dormers,
entrance formerly to left, now to middle bay through late C20 timber-
framed pentice. Interior: C18 beaded doors to top rooms; several
rafters are fashioned from bark-covered bifurcating branches which
though producing an unusually rustic effect are pegged into place.
Formerly thatched.
