GV II

Small house. Late C17 - early C18. Timber-frame, brick infill panels,
straight braces to some posts, one small full cruck blade indicative of
a former cross range at north west end; roughcast finish to north west
end; continuous asbestos tiled roof; large local type stone south east
end stacks with detached brick shaft now enveloped by mid-C20 brick and
weatherboard extension. 2 storeys, 2 bays, random C20 casements;
entrance from south west to right hand side of north west bay through
C20 door. Interior: close-set beams; in south west wall of upper north
west room: part of a small low roof truss, corresponding neither with
the existing building nor the cruck, gives some evidence of fundamental
remodellings.
