Cottage. C17 or early C18. Timber-frame with plastered infill and machine-
tile roofs. 1 + 2 room front. One storey and attic, 3 gabled half-dormers,
3 windows on ground floor, the two left hand ones have C20 casements, the
right hand one has an angled bay, weathering to centre, paired, window and
ledged door. to right of it. Timber-frame of thin scantling: the left hand
bay appears thinner; 3½ panels to present wall-plate; end gable has 3 struts
between tie and collar and 'V' struts in apex. Large extruded local type
chimney to rear.
