1/103 Clyde Cottage



Cottage. Probably early - mid C19. Timber-framed, painted brick infill
panels, corrugated iron finish to left gable wall, slate roof, local type
external end stack to right. One storey and attic, about 2 bays probably
forming two rooms one above the other. Entrance on front away from road.
Framing though regular is very thin, 3 panels high from cill to wall-plate
and 8 panels in length. Included as a very late example of the local timber-
frame tradition.
