3/120 South Hyde Farmhouse

Farmhouse. c1800 - c1825. Roughcast with plastered quoins, hipped slate
roof with central well and side stacks. Villa style, 'U' plan. 3 storeys
on cellar, dentilled eaves cornice; 2 windows outer ones in arched recesses,
tripartite on ground and first floors; sash to centre first floor and one
sash each to left and right of second floor; rectangular panel to centre of
second floor. Glazed gabled porch with 16-pane sashes to sides and re-used
early C18 consoles in carved stone from the demolished nearby house called
"The Shippens".
