Former cottage, now public house. Possibly C17, extended in early C19.
Timber-frame, render, tiled and slate roofs, one inserted stack to front
right hand corner and one to left end. 2 parts: right part has one storey
and attic, 2 bays, two 2-light C19 casements one either side of entrance,
2 gabled 2-light dormers, entrance under gabled early C20 gablet porch via
12-panelled door. Framing is irregular but of even scantling; panels of
greatly different sizes varying between 2 and 4 from cill to wall-plate
