SO 76 SW CLIFTON UPON TEME -

Farmhouse. Late C17/early C18, with C19 and C20 additions. Timber-frame
with rendered infill on rubble plinth, plain tile roof, rubble stack with
detached brick shaft to right gable. 2 storeys on cellar, 3 C20 casements
to first floor, 2 structural bays; cellar door to left, gable end entrance
to right with C20 open tiled shelter against the stack, extending beyond
line of cottage; large C20 extension to rear. Framing: 3 square panels
high to original wall-plate, raised a further panel in C19, but original
gable trusses retained; gables now part weatherboarded.
