SO 75 NW CLIFTON UPON TEME -

5/2 Ham Farmhouse

Farmhouse. C17 with C18 and C19 modifications. Timber-frame with painted
brick infill on brick plinth, plain tile roof, rubble stack with detached
brick shaft to left gable and rear brick stack. 1 1/2 storeys; probably 5
framed bays, irregular fenestration, mostly C19 casements, gable to left
with V struts in apex, roughly central C17 gabled dormer with C19 casement,
on ground floor roughly central square bay window, 1½ storey gabled porch
left of centre. The right gable wall is refaced in C19 timber framing.
Framing: square panels with straight tension braces, coursed rubble wing
to rear with ashlar quoins, C18, and a timber-framed lean-to against it;
also various C19 additions on rear of building.
