south west of Noak Farmhouse

Barn. Late C17/early C18 with C20 modifications. Timber-frame and brick,
part weatherboarded, corrugated iron roof. 4 structural bays, opposed cart
doors to bay west of centre. North front: timber-frame 2 panels high with
straight tension braces on tall English bond brick wall, which has some areas
of repairs. Roof: intermediate trusses: raking struts without collar, ridge
and trenched purlins, also angle braces from wall posts to tie-beam; gable
trusses: 4 queen struts with V-struts in apex. Timber open-sided lean-to on
south wall.
