Cottage. Late C17/early C18 with C19 alterations. Timber-frame with painted
brick infill, rubble outshut, slate roof and central brick stack. Gable end
to road: 1½ storeys, central door with C19 gabled porch, 2 plank weatherings
to roof truss above: to left a single storey rubble outshut with plain tile
roof. Framing: 2 structural bays in square panels 3 high to wall-plate, gable
truss: 3 queen struts with V struts in apex; gable walls: X-brace in panel
over door, continued downwards to meet main posts.
