SO 76 SW CLIFTON UPON TEME THE VILLAGE (east side)

Farmhouse. C17 remodelled C19. Red brick, rubble plinth, part timber-framed,
C20 brick end stack to left, C19 to right, C17 brick stack on rear wall. 'U'
plan, centre infilled in C19. Irregular storeys, 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 on high plinth with
cellar under left wing; 3 irregular ranges of windows, mostly C19 3-light
casements under segmental heads; circa 1700 moulded brick string to front and
side of left hand wing. Entrance off centre left approached by double flight
of steps, ledged door, 2 scroll brackets above support renewed flat canopy.
Square framing visible in right hand front. Interior: chamfered and stopped
beams in central rear room, roof trusses have queen struts and trenched purlins.
