Farmhouse. C16 and mid C18. Brick and timber-frame with wattle-and-daub
and brick infill, plain tile roof, brick end stack to right, stack at junction
on rear wall. T-plan, the rear wing being C16, the front range one room deep
of mid C18 date. 2 storeys on cellar, gable lit attic, coped verges and dentilled
brick cornice; 3 windows, slight asymmetrical, two 3-light casements under segmental
heads, flanking a lunette; central entrance approached by semi-circular plan stone
steps, half-glazed panelled door; cellar entrance to right. Rear wing: 2 storeys,
2 framed bays, walls originally close-studded with mid-rail on each floor, many
of the studs have been removed, with straight angle braces; gable truss: 3 queen
struts to collar.
