SO 75 NE BROADWAS CP CHURCH LANE

3/24 Badgers Bend

Cottage. Late C17 with C20 alterations. Timber-framed with painted brick
infill, partly roughcast on a brick base, tiled roof, external brick stack
at rear now enclosed by extension. 2 framed bays; large square panels, 3 from
sill to wall-plate, long straight braces in gable end and west wall-frame;
queen strut truss in gable end. West elevation has 7, C20 ground floor case-
ments, arranged vertically in pairs and one set of 3, and a gabled dormer with
casement. Interior Roof has queen strut trusses, and single, trenched purlins;
large swept braces in lower east wall-frame. C20 extensions to east elevation.
