SO 85 NW GRIMLEY CP CAMP LANE

4/51 Retreat Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Early C19. Brick, 2-span tiled roof, brick stack at south
gable end and also ridge stack. Two storeys and cellar; dentilled eaves
cornice. Three plus one bays; all windows have gauged flat heads, moulded
architraves flush with wall face and are glazing bar sashes; the ground
floor window at the right end is blocked; doorway at centre of left 3 bays
is C19 with 6 raised and fielded panels, barred segmental fanlight, pilaster
surround and broken pediment above. Interior not inspected.
