Cottage. Early C17 with C20 additions and alterations. Timber-framed,
painted brick infill; slate roof, brick external stack with slate offsets
at left gable end, also brick external stack to rear left. Two framed
bays, the right bay appears to have been extended. Single storey and attic
with rear dormers. Square panels, 3 from sill to wall-plate, long straight
braces in lower corners at front and rear, exposed queen strut truss with V-
struts in apex in left gable end. Front elevation: ground floor casement in
left bay; to right is an outshut with 4 skylights and a C20 timber door in
angle with main part. Interior: Intermediate queen strut truss; single,
trenched purlins. Main beams are stop-chamfered. C20 extension at right
gable end.
