SO 85 NW HALLOW CP CHURCH LANE

Farmhouse. Early C18. Brick, hipped, tiled roof, 2 large external brick
stacks to left and also ridge stack at right end. Two storeys, cellar and
attic with dormers; dentilled eaves cornice. Five bays; all windows have
cambered heads, the brick arches of orange and blue bricks and there is a
blue diaper over the central first floor window; all windows are cross
casements; 2 gabled dormers with casements. Central doorway, now blocked,
has a pilaster surround and flat canopy, a wide panelled door and
rectangular transom light with central glazing bar. Interior has stop-
chamfered main beams. Main entrance at rear. Outshuts to left side
elevation incorporate chimney stacks and an additional single storey out-
shut is built onto the side.
