Cottage. C17 with mid-C20 additions and alterations. Part timber-framed,
painted brick infill, brick refacing and part brick, tiled roofs, brick
stacks at gable ends of old part. Two framed bays with C20 cross-wing.
Single storey and attic with dormers. Square panelled framing, 3 panels
from sill to wall-plate, long straight brace in lower right corner of
west elevation. Main elevation to east: C17 part has 2 ground floor case-
ments, 2 first floor hipped dormers with casements, glazed door in right
bay beneath lean-to porch. C20 cross-wing gable end has glazed double doors
flanked by narrow side lights and 2 casements in attic. Interior Intermediate
interrupted tie-beam truss; single, trenched purlins; some of main beams are
stop-chamfered. A C20 single storey extension adjoins south side elevation.
Main entrance now in 2 storey gabled projection in side elevation of cross-
wing. Well to east of C17 part.
