3/116 Barn south-west of
the Cob House Farmhouse


Barn. C17 with C19 and C20 alterations. Timber-framed, brick and wattle
infill, brick replacement walling, sandstone rubble plinth, weatherboarded,
tiled. Five bay barn, central wagon bay with opposed square-headed cart
entries. Framing of 3 square panels from sill to wall-plate; brick gable
end walls. Roof of double, trenched purlins with 4 intermediate raking
strut trusses. Trusses in gable ends of lozenge-shaped panels. C19 and
C20 additions to all elevations.
