Including No 1 Church Lane. Probably C16 with C17 wing. Timber-framed with close-set
studding. 2 storeys. 2 windows. Victorian wood mullion/transom casements. Late
Victorian shop window across whole of front with cornice fascia and with shaped
spandrels to windows. Gable to left. L-shaped on plan. Long timber-framed wing
at rear is a C17 cottage facing Church Lane (No 1 Church Lane), with square panels
to timber framing. RCHM (8).

Market House with all the listed buildings on the east side of High Street form
a good group.
