C17, refronted early C18 with red brick. 3 storeys with cellar. Parapet with
moulded stone coping and heavy stone cornice and modillions below. Chamfered stone
quoins. 4 windows wide, sashes, with thick glazing bars, and enriched stone keyblocks
in segmental arches. Ground floor segmental headed passageway to left with flush-panel
door and Victorian shop front with moulded cornice and fascia. Hipped tiled roof
with 2 large modern gabled dormers. Wing at rear with exposed timber framing.

Market House with all the listed buildings on the east side of High Street form
a good group.
