C17 timber-framed building, refronted early C18. Tiled roof with gabled ends,
dentil blocks below eaves. Colourwashed brick front. 4 flat brick Tuscan pilasters
in front, one of which is stopped by arched opening to a passage on the right.
2 storeys and basement. 3 narrow sash windows with modern glazing, plus 1 blocked.
Arch to passage on right has impost and keyblock. Small Victorian shop window
with elliptically headed lights. Some timber-framing at rear. Interior: exposed
timber-framing, stop chamfered beam and fielded-panel doors.

Nos 33 to 37 (odd) Horseshoe Inn and Nos 67 71 and 73 form a group No 71 is
a building of local interest).
