Circa 1600. Timber-framed. Tiled roof. 3 storeys. Attic storey has been heightened.
Ground floor remains of C19 shop front with moulded cornice and modern window.
Inside the shop front is the moulded bressummer under the formerly projecting upper
storey. 1st floor outbuilt with later timber framing. 2nd floor close-set studding
with moulded bressummer, heightened eaves. 1 window wide with 3-light casements,
1st floor modern. RCHM(55).

Nos 1 to 4 (consec), Royal Oak Hotel and Nos 6 to 11 (consec) form a group with
Nos 2 to 8 (even) New Street.
