1848-9. Occupies the site of the Prior's House and is a replica of a C17 predecessor.
Generally Jacobean in style. Three storeys in random local stone with ashlar
dressings and heavy creeper cover. Shaped gables and crenellated parapets.
Strings between storeys. Two-storey oriel window and strapwork above central
porch. Curved flight of steps to front door, strapwork balustrading. Windows
have stone mullions and transoms. Full-height angular bay with plain parapet
to right hand. The late C19 portion to the left is of 2-storeys and attics,
in Malvern stone with ashlar dressings, with applied half-timber ornament to
the upper storeys. Two gables, with carved bargeboards. Oriel windows, mullions
and transoms. Arched moulded doorway. Linked to the main building. Modern
wing to south not of special interest.
