The School House at
SO 7745 SE 6/116
Circa 1864, by Charles F Hansom of Clifton, who designed the school. Two storeys
and attics, in stone with ashlar dressings and tile roof. Gothic style. Gable
to the left with one tall window over 2 windows over one window of 2-lights.
Crenellated tower with armorial shield and a trefoil-headed light. An oriel
with 3 trefoil-headed lights and a wood angle porch over arched door and door
to side. The right-hand wing is gabled, with a 2-light window above one of
3-lights on both lower storeys, blocked trefoil heads.
