House, now including a shop. Mid - late C17, date on fireplace lintel of 1686.
Timber-frame partly, but mostly red brick in Flemish bond, plain tiled roof,
curvilinear end gables, brick modillion cornice and off-centre brick stack.
2 storeys, cellars and garret. 4 bays, the right one is now obscured by a
projecting wing of timber-frame with painted brick infil; 4-light segmental
headed casement windows on ground floor and 2-light cross windows on first
floor, plain band between. Central C20 door under porch and door in end
gable; projecting stack. Some blue brick diaper-work between upper windows
and in end stack.
