Farmhouse. Early - mid C17. Timber-frame, partly rebuilt in and with red
brick infill, plain tiled roof, off-centre and end brick stacks. Irregular
U-plan, with central hall and projecting wings at each end. 2 storeys,
cellars and garrets in the wings. 3 bays, the left part is rebuilt in
brick with mock timber-framing in the gable, single 3-light casement window
to each floor. Recessed centre with timber-frame on a brick base, 3-light
casement windows and late C19 porch in re-entrant angle. Right wing projects
on a stone plinth and is jettied, straight braces to the frame, sash window
on ground floor and 2-light casement above, C19 decorative bargeboards.
