Monument to Walter Acton Moseley about 6 m west of west tower of Church of St Peter

Chest tomb. Late C18. Grey standstone ashlar. In an Adam style. Set on
raised stone base which formerly had railings; moulded plinth and capping;
Vitruvian scroll motif runs around top edge below capping; inscription panels
on long sides have fan motifs at corners. East short side bears coat of arms.
Commemorates Walter Acton Moseley late of Glasshampton, inscription partly
illegible.
