Field barn and adjoining implement shed. Early C18 barn, mid C19 added shed.
Timber-framed on lias stone plinth, brick infill, later brick shed, tiled
roofs. Barn 3 framed bays with central threshing floor, rubble plinth with
single course of red brick forming base to wooden sill; framing: 2 panels
from sill to wall-plate with diagonal bracing; perforated brickwork in small
lozenges to upper panels. Interior has 2 inclined strut trusses; end gable
has 4 queen struts to collar and V-struts. Implement shed adjoining to east
gable has 3 rounded brick arched openings and window above central archway;
included for group value. The Barn is partly obscured at rear by later
additions (not included).
