Former school house. Dated 1874. Red sandstone ashlar, tiled roof. L-plan
with house range aligned north - south and former school room projects to
west. C20 extension in angle to rear, Tudor Gothic style. Single storey
and attic with moulded plinth, roll mould to cornice and chamfered corner
blocks, 2 windows: 2-light stone cross mullioned windows in dormers, canted
bay and 3-light stone cross mullioned window on ground floor flank central
porch, ledge door. South gable has oriel supported on 3 brackets.- School
room has inserted floor and C20 dormers, 2 original cross-mullioned windows
to ground floor, with continuous hood mould over both, corbelled bell cote
to west gable. Decorative shafts to chimneys.
