House. Early C18, possibly incorporating parts of an earlier structure. Red
brick, partly rendered, plain tiled roof, hipped over left wing, brick stacks.
irregular U-plan with 2 cross-wings that to the left is possibly C19. 2 storeys.
Recessed centre with 3 glazing bar sash windows and off-centre 6-panel door.
2 renewed sash windows in cross-wing at right and a mixture of casements and
glazing bar sash windows in advanced left wing. Garden elevation is irregular
with two 2-bay advanced and gabled wings flanking the central section; 4-bay
extension at right under hipped roof. Interior: VCH records stairway with
moulded handcut and slender balusters and C17 panelling in hall and room over
study.
