Former farmhouse. C17, altered. Timber-framed, brick infill, brick refacing,
sandstone plinth, tiled roof. Former hall of 3 framed bays and cross-wing of
2 framed bays, with through-passage backing onto stack. Single storey and
attic, irregular fenestration, 2 dormers to hall range with 2 below and
central resited C20 glazed door, one window to gable with 2 to ground floor
and one of blocked 3-light mullioned window in north face. Framing: almost
complete, 3 panels from sill to wall-plate. Insurance plaque in north gable
(illegible).
