SO 86 NW SHRAWLEY CP SHRAWLEY

Farmhouse. C17, altered. Timber-framed, brick infill, brick refacing to
lower storey of north gable, tiled roofs. Roughly L-plan with main range
aligned east-west of 3-framed bays, north projecting range at west end of
2 framed bays, external stacks to east gable end and to west return of
north projecting range now enclosed by later lean-to. Two storeys and
attic. South elevation: irregular fenestration, 3-light casements and
glazing bar sash windows, central gabled dormer with 2-light casement,
blocked opening and 2 glazing bar sash windows to first floor, 2 sash
windows to left and 2 3-light casements to right of left of centre, C20
glazed door, ledge door to west return. Framing: almost complete; 2 panels
from sill to mid-rail, 3 panels above to wall-plate, diagonal bracing from
sill to main post and above from mid-rail to main post. V-struts in gables.
