6/6 Home Farmhouse



Farmhouse. Circa 1700, extended to rear early mid-C19. Red brick with plain
tiled roof. 2 storeys, cellar and garret. 3 bays: 2-light cross windows under
segmental heads, some with leaded lights; string courses over. The centre
bay projects slightly and is surmounted by a plain pediment. 'S'-ends to
iron tie-bars visible in centre. 2 storey and 3 bay rear wing with 2- and
3-light cross windows under segmental heads; off-centre C20 door. (RCHM, Here-
fordshire, Vol II, 1932).
