Farmhouse. Late C17; heavily remodelled late C19. Timber-frame, on red
brick ground floor and red brick infill; plain tiled roof; diagonal brick
stacks. 2 storeys and garrets. 4 bays, each surmounted bya bargeboarded
gable. 2-light casement windows. Off-centre panelled door at right in late
C19 timber-framed porch. The Estate Office is incorporated at the rear
of the building. (RCHM, Vol II, 1932).
