Cow shelter about 70 yards
north-north-east of
Court Farmhouse

GV II

Cow shelter. Probably late C18. Sandstone rubble rear and west gable walls,
brick piers to front, plain tiled roof. Seven structural bays aligned roughly
east/west. Square piers to front and south-east corner infilled with weather-
boarding in first and third bays from left hand side. Interior: rear wooden
trough; complete set of trusses with raking struts pegged to ties and rafters.
Forms an enclosing feature to the farmyard of Court Farmhouse (qv) and the
adjacent barn (qv). Included for group value.
