Farmhouse, now house. Probably C17, altered and extended in late C18.
Timber-frame clad and extended in brick, tiled roofs, stack roughly central.
Irregular rectangular plan consisting of two-bay timber-framed part aligned
north/south and C18 extension at north end. Timber-framed part has one
storey and attic with cellar beneath south bay; brick addition has two
storeys and attic. East elevation: one window in gable to left of centre,
brick dentilled eaves cornice to right, mainly segmental brick window heads;
4-light early C19 wrought iron casement on ground floor of gable, a similar
window to right hand side in two-storey part; 4-light casement to left of
centre in single storey early C19 canted brick projection; one glazing bar
sash over cellar steps and door to left hand side with side stack above;
entrance to right of centre with 4-panelled early/C19 door. North elevation
presents two gables with attic casements to road. Interior: ground floor rooms
of timber-framed part have deep chamfers without stops; several C17 or C18
plank and ledged doors.
