north of Lillands

GV II

Stables. Probably early C18. Brick plinth, timber-framed with brick infill,
weatherboarding and tiled roof. Five small structural bays aligned roughly
north-east/south-west. South-east elevation: two symmetrically placed stable
doors with small window containing C18 wrought iron leaded casement at the
right hand side; two rows of square panelling above brick plinth, the top row
weatherboarded; central early C20 brick lean-to. Left gable is weatherboarded
and contains loft opening, stable door to right. Interior: heavily cranked
principals spring from upper floor and are pegged to collars.
