4/135 Barn about 25 yards
north-west of Abbot's Place

GV II

Barn. Probably early C19. Timber-framed, brick infill and tiled roof.
Three bays aligned roughly east/west. Full-height opposed doors to threshing
floor, lozenge-pattern ventilator holes in brick infill. Interior has pegged
raking struts from ties to principals on either side of threshing floor.
A late but complete example of the timber-frame tradition. Included for
group value.
