4/142 The Grove


House. Probably late C17 to early C18, altered in mid-C20. Timber-frame
with weatherboards, stone external end stack, bread oven and tiled roof.
Two bays aligned roughly east/west. One storey and attic. South elevation
has 2-light mid-C20 casements, one to right of off-centre French casement
and two to the left with symmetrically placed gabled dormers. Formerly
known as Bull's Grove.
