south of south porch of
Putley Parish Church


Chest tomb. Inscription illegible, probably early C18. Finely cut sandstone.
Flat moulded capping deeply overhanging plain rectangular side panels and
cusped end panels. An early and conspicuous example immediately in front of
the entrance to the Parish Church (qv).
