1/201 The Old Rectory



Rectory, now three tenements. C17 west wing with C18 addition to east and
early C20 additions at each end. Brick, sandstone and stucco with tiled
roofs and brick stacks. Roughly rectangular plan. Two storeys and attics.
South-east elevation has six windows, three glazing bar sashes to C18 brick
part with two gabled dormers containing C19 casements; right wing has gable
with two-storey c1900 bay windows; left C18 sandstone gable has glazing bar
sash to ground floor and a C19 casement to first floor, two glazing bar
sashes with segmental heads beneath early C20 addition to left; glazed
central late C20 porch encloses 6-panelled C18 door to right and late C20
